Those parties wishing to present oral argument must notify all other parties and the Law and Motion Department in which the motion is to be heard no later than 4:00 p.m. on the Court day prior to the hearing; otherwise, NO ORAL ARGUMENT WILL BE PERMITTED AND THE TENTATIVE RULING WILL BECOME THE ORDER.

To request oral argument you must call the Department directly at one of the numbers listed.
If your call is not answered simply leave a message stating your case name and number and that you are requesting oral argument.

If you desire to appear remotely for your law and motion hearing, you must first file the forms required by Local Rule 4.1.2.D.7 and directly notify the trial department.  If approved, you will receive the judge’s order electronically.  If you do not receive permission by order, you are expected to appear in-person.  The unlimited civil departments allow Zoom for remote appearances ONLY.

The tentative rulings may be obtained either here, online, or by telephoning the court at 457-4943. Please click the date below to view or print the Tentative Ruling for that day.
