Overview

Unity Court is a voluntary program designed to provide specialized resources to system-involved youth that have been identified as a victim or at-risk of becoming a victim of human trafficking in order to decrease their vulnerability of further exploitation. The program will provide a trauma-informed court setting to mitigate the frequent re-traumatization of victims and survivors finding themselves in juvenile delinquency and dependency systems. The program will seek to empower participating youth in identifying and reaching their own goals and connect the youth to mentorship opportunities in their field(s) of interest. Unity Court will provide both trauma and survivor-informed services to participating youth, including case management, education, group curriculum, and access to other resources.
