Remote Appearance Information
Remote Appearances are guided by Local Rules 1.1.19 and 4.1.2. Code of Civil Procedure section 3.675 and California Rules of Court 3.672. The remote appearance requirements vary depending on the hearing type.
Below is a summary of all remote appearance requirements for each of the Civil categories Evidentiary and Non-Evidentiary hearings.
Requests for Remote Appearances via CourtCall are not required for Case Management Conference Hearings as outlined on Local Rule 2.2.4. Parties may directly contact Court Call to make arrangements for a telephonic appearance. Click here for Court Call instructions to set up call.
